With your ad account connected, Ares becomes your media buyer. It launches lead-generation campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, watches spend and results daily, pulls new ad leads straight into follow-up, and tells you when something needs a decision.
What Ares can do once connected
- Launch lead-generation campaigns with instant forms on Facebook and Instagram
- Target the cities and service areas you specify, and read that targeting back to you on the dashboard
- Receive new leads from your ads and start follow-up within seconds of submission
- Report spend, cost per lead, and lead volume on your dashboard
- Pause campaigns and ad sets, including automatically when something is clearly wasting budget
What stays under your control
Ad spend is treated as the most sensitive category of action in Ares:
- No launch without preview. Every campaign is shown to you, with targeting, budget, creative, and form, before anything goes live. You confirm explicitly.
- No unseen creative. Ad copy and images are either provided by you or drafted by Ares and confirmed by you. Nothing runs that you have not looked at. See Creative.
- Budgets are yours. You set them, Ares works within them, and increases require a fresh approval. See Budgets and spend safety.
Connecting
- Open the connections step in onboarding, or the connections panel on the dashboard.
- Choose the ads connection and sign in with the Meta account that owns your business’s ad account and Facebook page.
- Pick the ad account and page Ares should use. If you manage several, pick the one for this business; Ares works one business per account.
Connect the Meta account that owns the ad account and page. Personal profiles with guest access to a business’s assets can connect but often lack permission to create campaigns, which surfaces later as failed launches.
Billing reality check
Your Ares subscription and your ad spend are separate. Ad spend is billed by Meta to the payment method on your ad account, at the budgets you approve. Ares never holds, marks up, or routes your ad budget. See Billing.
Disconnecting
Revoke access any time from the connections panel. Running campaigns are yours and remain in Meta Ads Manager; Ares simply stops managing and reporting on them. Leads already captured stay in your CRM.
